March 9th, 2024, Our Matins held a table at the Marshalltown Healthy Family Fair where we provided helmets to over 100 children in need. We also teamed up with the Marshalltown Police Department to donate the extra helmets at the end of the day to have the go out to families in need who could not attend the event.
Feb. 2nd, 2024, Kiwanis Matins prepared 671 books to be delivered to the preschools and head starts in Marshall County area.
Oct. 19th, 2023, Kiwanis Matins presented Marshalltown Parks and Recreation Department $3,200 for a new handicap swing to be placed at Mega 10 Park in Marshalltown! Sept. 21st, 2023 Kiwanis Matins donation of $500 to the Marshalltown Salvation Army. The salvation Army provides after school events as well a food pantry and other services to our community.Aug. 17th, 2023, Kiwanis Matins presented West Marshall’s Trojan Tots preschool a donation of $500.June 25th, 2023, CAPS (Child Abuse Prevention Services) came and spoke about the services they provide for the Marshalltown community. June 21st, 2023, Kiwanis Matins partnered with Iowa Valley Bicycle Club to provide helmets to the children in Marshalltown.
May 17th, 2023, we had a wonderful day out at the Iowa Veterans home serving Funnel cakes to our veterans for free. Great way to start the 2023 Funnel cake season.
April 26, 2023, Kiwanis Matins Volunteering to create meals for Marshalltown residents. 10 box’s 36 bags per box 6 meals per bag 2160 meals in less than an hour!
